MATRIC GROUP EXHIBITS AT ARMTECH 2007

The Matric Group companies of Dynamic Manufacturing and Matric recently exhibited at the ARMTECH 2007 Showcase of industry and Technology in Kittanning, PA. The showcase was held at the Belmont Complex on August 16-17, 2007.  The event was sponsored by the Armstrong County Department of Planning and Development.

The two-day event began with two seminars featuring speakers from Navy purchasing and local non-profit groups that assist area companies. The show then featured several business-to-business segments which afforded numerous opportunities for the Matric Group companies to interact with potential customers from various industries. There were 93 booths exhibiting with the Matric Group located at booth number 6, near the entrance of the show.

Other notable exhibitors included Boeing, Northrop Grumman Corporation, Bell Helicopter, II VI Incorporated (parent company of eV Products) and Lockheed Martin.

Thursday evening ended with a large reception hosted by Boeing. It was a time to continue building relationships and networking with potential customers.

Friday began with a breakfast event at the Lenape Heights Golf Club with Congressman Murtha as the special guest speaker. The trade show then continued at the Belmont Complex with Congressman Murtha visiting each booth and learning about their business and offering assistance. He was most interested in our work with our sister company, MLS Electrosystem, and the wind energy segment.
