Matric Associates Embrace the Spirit of Giving

Seneca, PA -- Matric Associates have once again embraced the spirit of giving and helped to make the season bright for the community.  Despite the ailing economy, rising energy costs and financial struggles for families across the nation, Matric Associates have found a place in their hearts and pocketbooks to help those in need.  In recent weeks, Matric has been a flurry of activity in collecting items for the annual food drive and family adoption project.  

A community-based project that Matric Associates have come to support is the “Fill the Matric Van” project.  The project is a food-drive to aid a local area shelter that cares for men, women and children throughout the year.  The shelter provides basic necessities, hot meals and a warm place to stay.  Sadly enough, federal funding has been cut and other food-drive initiatives have yielded lower supplies than in past years.  Matric Associates are asked to purchase enough non-perishable items to fill the large Matric industrial-sized van and hopefully provide enough food and supplies to last well into 2010.
