IT Programmer/System Analyst

A growing electronic design and manufacturing company in NW PA seeks an addition to our IT Development Team.  This individual will assist in the analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and documentation of new systems as well as maintenance and enhancement of existing applications.

Job duties include the following:

• Working directly and effectively with end-users, project managers, programmers, and other business areas to ensure requirements are met.
• Provide leadership for specific projects.
• Work as a team member on broader more complex projects.
• Define information flow, program functions and data requirements.
• Define testing criteria, analyze test data and validate systems.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

• A degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Work experience as a Programmer or Programmer Analyst.
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2005 with experience creating stored procedures, programming data-access through ADO.NET and creating reports and report models for SQL Server Reporting Services.
• Experience with Visual Studio .NET frameworks and XML.
• Good communications skills, a working knowledge of system development life cycle methodologies, and strong teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of manufacturing and ERP systems a plus.
