The
convergence of wireless technology, embedded electronics, industrial
networking, and handheld controls is driving modern factory automation and
Matric has the products to meet the challenge.
ProComm
Matric's ProComm series combines a 900MHz receiver and heavy duty I/O into
one rugged controller.
The ProComm can actuate solenoids,
contactors, or other on/off devices, receive wired input from switches or
on/off sensors, and also provide an analog output for variable controls or
data loggers. Using a TriggerPad handheld for operator input the ProComm is
a stand-alone control system.
NetComm
Add the convenience of a wireless handset to your DeviceNet application
using Matric's NetComm system. Workcenter selection is possible allowing a
user to control different equipment attached to the same network.
TriggerPad
Matric's TriggerPad series of handheld control stations have been designed
for use in one-hand applications. A variety of label and switch
configurations are available to tailor the TriggerPad to your equipment .
The TriggerPad is the perfect blend of durability and functionality.
TriggerPad handhelds are compatible with ProComm and NetComm base units.
Wireless Data Pool
Add the versatility and convenience of wireless I/O to your process control
application. The Wireless Data Pool system provides a secure radio network
that links sensors, actuators, and PLCs. Using the Wireless Data Pool you
can bring remote sensor data to a PLC, transmit control signals to remote
actuators from a PLC, or link input and output devices without a PLC. The WDP DIO unit provides wireless digital I/O and the WDP DeviceNet Portal supports wireless data
transfers via DeviceNet.
CAN Bridge
This system extends DeviceNet's flexibility by implementing a wireless CAN
trunk line that is transparent to nodes on either side of the wireless link.
All DeviceNet data rates are supported and a standard DeviceNet network can
be implemented over a typical range of 500 feet indoors.
