Seneca, PA – Matric has the distinct honor of being featured in a series of new videos produced by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Department of Community and Economic Development (PA DCED). They partnered with the Oil Region Alliance (ORA) this past fall to visit and film various businesses and regional fall festivals located in Northwest Pennsylvania.
The mission of the PA DCED road trip was to capture footage of the scenic NW PA region during the peak fall foliage season and to feature area manufacturers to showcase Pennsylvania as an ideal place to start, grow and maintain a business. Companies such as Matric were featured as a result of existing partnerships with the ORA and DCED for acquiring a low interest loan used to finance previous building expansions. Matric’s loan was recently repaid in full a year ahead of schedule. Without the loan administered by DCED, the expansions would not have been possible.
Once the footage was taken, the group returned to Harrisburg to edit and produce a series of videos (9 total) that were posted on youtube.com as a part of the www.newpa.com/business, Pennsylvania website designed to attract new business to PA. Matric was included in two of the newest videos featuring our very own Matric Group Owner and President, Rick Turner. The first video, “Why Pennsylvania”, outlines why NW PA is an ideal area to live and work. The second video, “Growing a Business in Pennsylvania”, focuses solely on Matric and highlights our commitment to utilize the state and federally funded government programs for loans, training, and other valuable resources that have helped shape our company to be the successful entity that it is today.
