FREEPORT, Pennsylvania, April 5, 2016 – Dynamic Manufacturing, LLC received the final results of their site audit and has been officially approved for ATEX certification. “This certification enables Dynamic to build intrinsically safe electronics to service industries where products are used in explosive atmospheres.” says Kirk Byerley, Vice President of Sales and Business Development.
Explosive atmospheres where ignition can occur are those industries such as oil and gas, underground mining and chemical plants where dangerous substances mix with air and become combustible. Malfunction of electronics (i.e., sparks) used in these areas can cause significant problems for workers in those atmospheres including serious injury and death. Byerley added, “Safety in these types of environments is key and our goal is to keep those employees safe. We’re very excited about the opportunities this certification provides for us.”
Dynamic Manufacturing’s sister company, Matric Limited located in Seneca, Pennsylvania, has been ATEX certified for many years. This certification for Dynamic will provide flexibility for existing customers of Matric to meet their needs as well as provide opportunity for new customers for Dynamic to service the explosive atmospheres market.
