The History of Dynamic Manufacturing
On January 1, 1993, three former Fisher Scientific employees formed Dynamic Manufacturing and rented space for operations in the U-Parc facility located at the former Chem Lab campus in Harmarville, PA. With a lot of hard work and dedication, the company grew into a formidible company offering electronic manufacturing services, aftermarket services and cable assembly.
On December 19, 2005, the assets of Dynamic Manufacturing were sold to The Matric Group.
After the first couple years of operation under the Matric Group umbrella, it became apparent that the company was out-growing the Harmar location. After an extensive search of the Pittsburgh region, the Northpointe Industrial Park located in Freeport, just off of Route 28 at the Slate Lick exit was chosen. It offered the best location to build a brand new, state-of-the-art building.
Ground was broken at 156 Armstrong Drive, in January, 2008. The building was completed in mid-September and the move was made to the new facility on September 26, 2008. Since that time, several pieces of new equipment including two MyData Pick and Place machines, a MDA test machine (Flying Prober) and a dedicated RoHS flow solder machine were added to the existing equipment list.
Dynamic acquired ISO 9001 certification from Bureau Veritas in 2010.
In August, 2011, ground was broken for a 10,000 sq. ft. expansion project for the manufacturing area. The project was completed in January, 2012 opening up the manufacturing space to 20,000 sq. ft. total.
